There are simple ways to implement creativity into the garden and patio area outside of your house. Doing these tasks yourself will not only save you money, but will result in a stunning exterior that you’ll be proud to show off to your family and guests.

DIY – Building a Sandpit

Kids love sandpits and believe it or not, these are very easy to create. You’ll need the following supplies to create a sandpit: four timber posts, eight decking boards, decking screws, weatherproof ply, pond liner, and of course, several bags of playpit sand. For specific instructions you’ll need to look this up on the web, but creating a pit that your children will love is fairly easy to build. Your kids will have a blast in their sandbox during the warm months ahead!

If you desire a shady area in your back yard, a pergola is a wonderful element to incorporate. Stay cool and enjoy a warm day under a shady pergola that’s perfect in your back yard.
